This young lady is a juvenile. She specialized in trapping and eating the bees nectar-gathering and pollinating in my huge clump of rosemary adjacent to my pool in the late spring.
Little Miss Muffet's pet spider grew from a fat juvenile to a fat teenager in one season as my family watched.
