"Nessie" on Land

Steve Alten did not commission this one. Conversations at holiday gatherings involving copious amounts of Highland Park and Scapa single malts did demand be rendered as an effective conceptual illustration.

Nessie got hungry in the late winter of 2005 and crawled on shore to hunt in the general vicinity of Foyers, Scotland. "My Girl" brings a new conceptualization to the title or phrase, "Fish Kill." Originally, this was rendered for Steve Alten, but it made for an excellent postcard and meme where I wrote, "Some days, you catch the fish, and on others, the fish catches you!"

The Scot in the drawing was a managing engineer at the famous Foyers Hydroelectric Power Plant, Foyers, Invernesshire, Scotland; and he was a confidential witness who explained during a Christmas Party on the 21st of December 2004 at the Clansman Hotel in Brachla how the teams had to deal with a serious and permanent infestation of European freshwater eels in the pipes and machinery of the plant. Both above and below water. He said they crawled around like snakes.

When maintenancing the large underwater blades inside the hydroelectrical turbines, large, diced slices of fish torso nearly four feet across were once found. Recent DNA Analyses in the water column of the lake extruded copious amounts of Anguilla anguilla eel DNA.

"Some days you catch the fish, and some days the fish catches you!"
