Loch Ness Monster Seen in the Fog

Client: Paramount Television 1993, "Sightings" TV Series, Executive Producers Henry Winkler and Michelle S. Davis.

Render: This render was accomplished in two hours in the conference room of the "Sightings" production team's housing aboard Paramount Studios in Hollywood in 1993. I was asked to complete two renders for a segment of the Loch Ness Monster based on a prerecorded rough edit of witness interviews made around Loch Ness in the fall of 1992 and spring of 1993. They needed both renders between 0900 and 1700 (5:00PM) of that day. I accomplished both drawings on that day using every different ball point pen and the high-end fountain pens belonging to Michelle and her managing segment producer. They fed me well and paid me better.

Significance: The witnesses described "Humps" and moving multiple "bumps"--not long swan-like necks and plesiosaur flippers. I was already clued in in advance by the many descriptions of "Nessie" encounters admitted to by the family members of a number of actively serving members of the British Army's Scottish Regiments going back to Operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM between August 1990 and January of 1991. From them I learned that "Nessie" was a rare manifestation of a super-large, "Thick-bodied" Anguilliforme eel belonging to either the species of Anguilla anguilla (fresh water European eel) who breeds in the ocean in the Sargasso Sea or of a Conger conger salt-water species somehow trapped and mutated inside the massive fresh water lake.
