General Composite of the Roswell UFO Blueprint Version #2: Almost There--But No Cigar!

THE STORYBOARD:

LICENSOR & DETECTIVE RENDERING ARTIST: Me. William Louis ("Bill") McDonald Sr.

PARTNERS: Then Captain and now Colonel and Doctor Kevin D. Randle (USAF Retired) along with Donald Raymond Schmitt, Co-authors of the "UFO Crash at Roswell (1991)" and "The Truth About the UFO Crash at Roswell (1994),"

LITERARY AGENT: Sharon Jarvis (Deceased), Toad Hall and Associates, Laceyville, Pennsylvania. (SPECIAL NOTE: Sharon worked as Special Assistant and Executive Assistant to Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis at Doubleday in New York for years prior to retiring to strike out on her own from nearby Laceyville.

THE LICENSEE: The Testor Corporation of Rockford, Illinois, via their Special Projects offices leased in San Diego.

THIS SKETCH BLUEPRINT'S HISTORY: This sketch was redrawn for the third and final time over the original sketch and radically improved as described from twenty-eight separate interviews and was turned into the Testor Corporation to facilitate the model kit's tooling. I had combined the Frank Kaufmann drawings with the Richard Tungate Drawings from Cheyenne Mountain and had factored in all other mentioned details as provided by four other living witnesses who had staunchly claimed up to their deaths that they actually handled this seamless multi-layered and crewed aerowinged arrow-headed flying vehicle that was "Not of this Earth."

All of the witnesses to the retrieval of this vehicle between 0500 and 1100 hours in the morning of 05 JULY 1947 at what many old-timers and researchers alike termed as the "Second Crash Site" thirty-two miles north of the town limits stated to a man that it was "Seamless, not manufactured by assembling machined and fitted sub-components, meaning it was 'Grown' not assembled; and from an origin that was "Not of this world." These same men were all hardened combat veterans of the air and ground wars against the Axis in both Europe and the Pacific theatres.

All knew the same three military occupational specialties to the last man: The use and smithing of military small arms, America's entire inventory of military ordinance, and all things pertaining to the maintenance, operations and piloting of any and all miitary aircraft. AND, they were all hand-selected to serve in the world's only functioning atomic bomb wing.

Every last man was a decorated combat veteran of the Second World War. There were no losers and no "Nut jobs" in the United States Army's 509TH Atomic Bomb Wing. The two B-29 Stratofortress bombers assigned to carry the two publicly acknowledged "Little Boy" and the far more powerful "Fat Man" nuclear devices over to Japan were from this very same, one and only 509TH unit stationed aboard Roswell Army Air Field. The "Enola Gay, Bockscar" though sometimes called "Brock's Car," and their two scientific secondary observation B-29s "Big Stink," and "The Great Artiste" all of which were part of the August 1945 509th Composite Group.

Why did a flotilla of UFO craft travel all the way to New Mexico? Easy. An atom bomb had been tested at Alamogordo, components were being developed at Sandia and assembled at Sandia, Alamogordo, and even at Roswell. The two atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945 sent out electromagnetic pulse signatures up even into the gamma part of the spectrum, way beyond X-rays, into space which attracted the interest of the extraterrestrials.

John Andrews who had started at the old Comet Models before I was born had worked with the Late Dr. Ben R. Rich who Kelly Johnson had assigned engine inlet engineering improvements on the original TR-1 which was the old U-2 spy plane the CIA had contracted Kelly's Skunk Works to design and build in the mid 1950s.

The original of this is beyond my ability to price.

Version #2: Almost There--But No Cigar!: The concept is seriously refined by a mysterious United Sttes Air Force Intelligence Officer who in 1952 helped roll the vehicle up and ship it from Wright Patterson AFB to Cheyenne Mountain.

The Earliest Roswell Blueprint Render, Version #1 I had not yet figured out that the wing-form would "Blend" biomorphically" into the fuselage surrounding the crew cabin (Like modern spy planes such as the SR-71 Blackbird and the spooky TR-3 Black Manta.

The "Net Result" was and remains unprecidented in 1947--not even Nazi Germany's the Horton Brothers could touch this Sea Animal configuration.
