Argonaut's Calamari Massage

This was a Fictitious Business logo and letterhead created as a cover for an old Detective Case up in Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica back around 1986-ish. I even ran this as an ad in the LA Times Classifieds and the Yellow Pages. We (As in my boss and I at Phalanx Investigations) had a very elaborate sign carved down in Laguna Beach. I was still in the Marine Corps at the time, homebased out of MCAS El Toro.

This straight Bic ballpoint and India ink drawing was published as an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times Classifieds and later in the city telephone book for the Greater Los Angeles Area. The business was a front for a detective agency's cover.
