This drawing started in April of 1999 and was not finished until it became a late Y2K (Year 2000) finished part of my UFO art collection.
In April of 1999 the drawing began as a sketch render for a greeting card that my wife's mother wanted for her correspondence. I was uninclined. My wife and mother-in-law insisted and my father-in-law saw to it that it became a marital issue. Lori's Mom got her local Arizona Saguaro cactus forest sketch and I have to admit, the greeting card looked great.
Mom Edwards and my wife, her youngest daughter really put their heart and souls into the card's production. Later, I added the La Sendas or Tonto Pines home, the neighbor and the George Adamski Venusian "Scoutships" plus the Quinn Martin-Larry Cohen (with actor Roy Thinnes) "The Invaders" saucer craft.
Many years later, a 1950s and '60s era Laguna Beach UFO abductee appropriately described this class of landing ships as an "Inverted chicken breeder" designer UFO craft.
