Vermithrax Perjorative and Loki Vanquish a Would-Be Dragonslayer

Client: Dr. Adrian Pollock, Acoustic Emissions and Associates, Trenton, New Jersey, 1982.

It was commissioned as a framed lobby wall painting for a corporation specializing in determining fatigued metals of any sort in any and all industrial structures--using sound wave emissions and ultrasound--to include structural supports for buildings of any size, boat hulls, bridge supports, power poles, roller coasters, amusement park rides, Ferris wheels, engine mounts, train engine chassis and aircraft landing gear.

The full title is "Vermithrax Perjorative and Loki Vanquish a Would-Be Dragonslayer." The entire mixed media drawing/painting was rendered to include thumb grease perspiration mixed in with a thoroughly ruined Bic ball point to create a really corrosive smoke effect. The pine trees and the leafy forest soil was rendered with watercolor paints.
