The Rutan Model 72 Grizzly is a tandem-wing STOL research bush plane aircraft designed by Burt Rutan was the first experimental airplane to tow another experimental airplane (the Rutan Solitaire glider) on June 23, 1982 over the Mohave High Desert with special permission from the FAA.
