Caribbean Mermaid from my Pirates Tales series

LOCATION: This drawing was rendered in Dana Point, California in the early 1980s.

BACK STORY: This is a shallow water pirate's last resting place in a mangrove swamp surrounding some lost cay in the mid 1600a to early 1700s. I think I rendered this one as a junior in high school at Dana Hills High School while writing a synopsis for my own pirates tale in 1979. She's an underwater princess of sorts, and the two Tursiops truncatus Atlantic bottlenose dolphins are her guardians.
