BOREDOM-BUSTER THERAPY for a CLASSIC ASPERGER'S / ADULT ADD/ADHD MUTANT: This Four-Color Black & White illustration started as as a Sketch-A-Doodle while I was sitting in the control room of a prison dormitory for medium custody sex offenders in Arizona back in 2010, bored out of my skull. As the weeks went by, this 8 &1/2" X 11" ball point Bic pens and then blue sat in my in-basket tray, day after day, as the detailing just kind of came together.
JAPANESE PICTURE BOOKS: This render eventually made it into several Japanese graphics coffee table hardcovers and Japanese publications in 2019 which "Venerate" classic English science-fiction and special effects concept designs from 1950 through 1990. Getting paid was a bitch but eventually all participants in these contracts delivered via electronic JPEG delivery and paid via https:llwww.alienufoart.com's PayPal feature.
CoViD-19 brought out a lot of aggressive venting of profound frustrations on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. I now understood why I had never relocated to Japan and moreover, why my family on my wife's side had prevailed upon me to move inland back in 2001 just prior to 9/11/01. CoViD-19 made me appreciate the blessings of not living in Southern California under Governor Gavin Newsom's Communist Regime. All clients acted honorably and their patronage was much appreciated. We of course delivered immediately.
The Prisma pencils, Sharpie neon highlighters also magically appeared from offices and dorms around our prison yards. Time flew, shifts passed, paychecks accrued.
Next thing I know, my subconscious mind had "Evolved" the sketch into a Jonny Quest and Gerry Anderson/Reg Hill homage.
In 2010, I was coming into my 9th Summer in Arizona and really hating not being on the beach. I resented having to relocate to Arizona in 2001 But my family were thriving and finances were holding stable against the losses suffered during the 2008 crash.

I sketched this version of the Gerry Anderson / Reg Hill "U.F.O." UFO and laminated it to an old Xerox of a blueprint that may have been rendered by either a member of the original design team or a fan. I was just creating a thumbnail to check my
angle.
