Orbital Adventures in DreamScape

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN: Clothing silkscreen art featuring astronauts, cosmonauts, and taikonauts floating in orbit in their space suits joined by spacewalking ancient astronauts, ancient aliens, along with ancient mythological gods and goddesses in their space suits; who are encountering far more ancient antediluvian space-faring Sumerian fish gods, reptilians, insectoids and Vimanas visitors from the stars.

MOTIVATION: Sheer relaxation. One of the most relaxing and peaceful activities I have ever known is drawing divers in their heavy deepwater gear descending into pelagic depths and astronauts spacewalking against the void in orbit. The Chinese call space farers "yuhangyuans."

BACK STORY: 1989? This was a sketch-a-doodle-gone-wild where the shuttle astronaut and the old Russian Mir Space Station get buzzed by ancient alien spacecraft resembling a Journey logo piloted by ancient astronauts. I was four sheets to the wind, on vacation from a nine-month undercover investigation, and days away from moving to Las Vegas for three months. I like spec ops combat gear, space suits and diving suits of all types. I was at that time also developing two clothing lines called "Argonaut's Millennium Wave" and "Argonaut's Pacific Rim."
