ARTIST: William Louis ("Bill") McDonald Senior.
COMPANY: Argonaut-GreyWolf.
CLIENT: Me. I photograph large fish and beautiful women through the medium of the water's surface tension, refraction and light-deflecting reflections as a study of the pattern that surface ripples create over anatomies and flesh textures thoroughly understood by me from both the esthetic and forensic examiner's perspectives.
PURPOSE: Providing neuro-mental therapy at home and about for me after a hard day at work providing programming services and investigative duties as pertains to Arizona's most dangerously violent and most seriously mentally ill men. To create a rest break from "Ye Ol' Graybar Hotel" without utilizing the blessings of alcohol, Tetrahydrocannabinol or any other controlled substances to help me relax. If you're a cop, or any other first responder, then you know the extreme and instantaneous value of fish tanks and the fish lakes in ornamental gardens.
NEW ADDED PURPOSE: I need to establish models for perfect koi and/or feral wild basal Amur carp (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) that would be swimming into the lap of a bathing Greek water nymph, an Aztec Matlalcueye (“She Who Wears a Green Skirt”), the goddess of freshwater lakes and streams; Chalchiuhtlicue (“She Who Wears a Jade Skirt”); Urashima Tarō (浦島 太郎); a Xiangshuishen or Xiang River Goddess; a Cambodian "Preah Mae Kongkea", the Khmer goddess or guardian deity of the water; Bon Om Touk; Cambodian Water "Nymph;" or a "Goldberry"-like River Fairie or elf.

NOTES: Cyprinus carpio "koi" aka Nishikigoi are colored varieties of the Family Cyprinidae Sino (Chinese originated) Amur carp that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor koi ponds or water gardens. Koi is an informal name for the colored variants of C. rubrofuscus kept for ornamental purposes. There are many varieties of ornamental koi, originating from breeding that began in Niigata, Japan in the early 19th century. Several varieties are recognized by the Japanese, distinguished by coloration, patterning, and scalation. Some of the major colors are white, black, red, orange, yellow, blue, brown and cream. The most popular category of koi is the Gosanke, which is made up of the Kōhaku, Taishō Sanshoku and Shōwa Sanshoku varieties.
Carp are a large group of fish originally found in Central Europe and Asia. Various carp species were originally domesticated in East Asia, where they were used as food fish. Carp are coldwater fish, and their ability to survive and adapt to many climates and water conditions allowed the domesticated species to be propagated to many new locations, including Japan. Natural color mutations of these carp would have occurred across all populations. Carp were first bred for color mutations in China more than a thousand years ago, where selective breeding of the Prussian carp (Carassius gibelio) led to the development of the goldfish (Carassius auratus).
