A Mesa PD cop who worked the graveyard shift from ten to six in the late spring of 2004 awoke around 11AM and saw this little guy out in the backyard under his Chinese elm tree. Beyond the wrought iron fencing was the eleventh tee of the Painted Mountain Golf Course and the disc was hovering over the neighbor houses beyond the green.
The cop promptly fell asleep on his couch, and didn't wake up again until after 9PM (2100 Hours). The view is running an azimuth of around 192 degrees south-southwest.
