Ancient Astronaut Scarab UFO Craft #2

INSPIRATION: Ancient Astronaut Scarab UFO Craft #1 was inspired by the biomorphic design of all 30,000 trans-African and worldwide scarab beetle species within the family of Scarabaeidae.

The family Scarabaeidae, as currently defined, consists of over 30,000 species of beetles worldwide; they are often called scarabs or scarab beetles. The classification of this family has undergone significant change in recent years.

INSPIRATION AND ORIGIN: I was, as always, entranced by the whole Erich Von Daniken "Ancient Astronauts" concept and a rumor had started that an intellectual property which would become "Stargate" was in play, and the Journey band's logo of a flying scarab was on my mind and I wondered: How cool would it be to fly one of these?
