The story idea came from a dolphin trainer for the US Navy in 1985 named Dr. Kenneth Norris and LAPD police patrol officer Victor Reubens Mendoza who was one of Connie Nash's students at either UCLA or Cal State Los Angeles. Constance Nash is the author of Screen-Writer's Handbook first published in 1978.

PROJECT: This "Mutant Shark Attack" Storyboard was also looked at by Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee.

NOTES: The shark is a mutant "Hybrid" of a hammerhead, a tiger and a salmon/mackrel shark DNA spliced critter escaped its pen off San Clemente Island.
